Northwind Horology started with one man; me, Leigh McCoy. I have grown deeper in love with timepieces and watchmaking over the years, expanding my personal inventory of watches and tools alike. My philosophy in my watch collecting is simple - watches are an extension and expression of your true self. What better way to do that than by making my own, right?

Behind this brand is years of experience, dedication to the art of bespoke watchmaking and a level of precision, detail and passion like no other. Now it is time to channel this into making something really special.

My vision is to create unique timepieces inspired by rich history, not only in horology, but the country I love, Northern Ireland. Starting from the very foundations of watchmaking, the Vanguard takes its inspiration from the very first wrist watch, commissioned during WWII. The field watch is the foundation of watchmaking and without it we would not be where we are today.

I won’t just be building watches; I will be building lasting tributes to Northern Irish and horological ingenuity, blending time-honoured traditions with bold, modern visions for the future of watchmaking.
